Welcome to Story Time Together ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Story Time Together mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "App").

Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. By downloading, accessing, or using Story Time Together, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Account Registration & Eligibility

1.1 Parent/Guardian Account Requirement

Story Time Together is designed for family use. Account creation is strictly restricted to adults aged 18 or older (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

Parental Control: All child profiles must be created, authorized, and managed under an account owned and maintained by a parent or legal guardian.

COPPA Compliance: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent provided during account registration.

1.2 Registration Credentials

Accounts are created using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

2. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellations

2.1 Subscription Plans

Story Time Together requires a paid subscription to access its core content and features. Subscription details, pricing, and available billing cycles (e.g., monthly or annual) are displayed within the App prior to purchase.

2.2 Payment Processing

Billing is processed based on how you purchased your subscription:

Apple App Store Purchases: Payments, renewals, and cancellations are governed by Apple’s standard App Store Terms of Service.

Google Play Store Purchases: Payments, renewals, and cancellations are governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service.

Direct Purchases: If you subscribe directly through our website or platform, payments are billed to the payment method provided at checkout.

2.3 Auto-Renewal & Cancellations

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings, Google Play account settings, or direct account portal, depending on where the subscription was initiated.

2.4 Refunds

Except where required by applicable law or specific store policies (e.g., Apple or Google refund guidelines), all subscription charges are non-refundable.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 Ownership of App Content

All content made available through Story Time Together—including but not limited to text, original stories, artwork, illustrations, character designs (such as Gary the Grumpy Goose, Terrence the Turtle, and Franklin the Frog), animations, audio, software, graphics, and trademarks—is the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

3.2 Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and view the App content solely for personal, non-commercial, household use.

3.3 No User-Generated Content

The App is a curated reading platform. Users cannot post, upload, transmit, or share public content, comments, or media within the App.

4. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

Copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any App content or artwork without explicit written permission.

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.

Share your account credentials outside your immediate household or sell, resell, or transfer your subscription.

Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to extract data or content from the App.

Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you to the Company for the App during the six (6) months prior to the claim.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9.2 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be settled by final and binding individual arbitration conducted in the State of Georgia, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

9.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND THE COMPANY AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by sending an email to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the App following notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
